How to send BSV-21 tokens
Sending a token works like sending BSV. You pick the token, add the recipient, check the fees and slide to approve.
Before you start
- Keep some BSV in your wallet. A token send pays its fees in BSV.
- Check the recipient's wallet. Make sure it supports BSV-21 tokens.
- Check the token ID. Token names aren't unique. The token ID on the token's screen tells two tokens apart.
Send a token
Open the token
On the home screen, tap the token in your list, or tap Tokens to see them all.
Tap Send
The token's screen has Receive and Send buttons.
Choose the recipient
Tap Paste or type the address, scan a QR code, or pick an address from Recent or Address book. SatPocket moves on as soon as the address is valid.
Enter the amount
Type how many tokens to send, then tap Continue.
Review the send
Check the amount and the recipient. Tap the info icon next to Fee to see each fee:
- the network fee, paid to BSV miners;
- the 100-satoshi SatPocket service fee;
- a token indexing fee, when the token service requires one.
Slide to approve
Nothing is sent until you slide. SatPocket then shows Sent, and the send appears in the token's activity.

Seeing "Waiting for network"?The send was signed, but SatPocket couldn't yet confirm that the network received it. The app retries that same send. Don't send it again.
Good to know
- Token outputs hold a small amount of BSV. A send can free some of it, and SatPocket shows this as BSV released. It isn't newly received BSV.
- If the token service reports a token as inactive, it can't be sent. SatPocket shows Token send unavailable with a link to the token's info.
- Sent tokens can't be recalled. Check the address before you approve.
