SatPocketHow to receive BSV
Getting paid takes a few taps: show your QR code or share your address. You can also request an exact amount.
Receive a payment
Tap Receive
Open SatPocket and tap Receive on the home screen. You see a QR code for your current receiving address and its name, such asAddress 1.
Share your address
Let the sender scan the QR code, or tap Copy orShare to send them the address.
Wait for the payment
The payment appears in your activity with its status. Receiving has no SatPocket service fee.
Your SatPocket address is on the BSV network.Only send BSV and BSV-21 tokens to it. Coins from other networks, such as BTC or BCH, won't arrive in SatPocket.
Request a specific amount
Open Request payment
On the Receive screen, tap Request payment.
Enter the amount
Type the amount of BSV you want to receive.
Share the request
SatPocket shows a QR code with the amount included. The sender can scan it, or you can tap Copy payment link or Share.
Payment requests are for BSV only, not for tokens.
Use more than one receiving address
On the Receive screen, tap Manage addresses. In Receiving addresses you can:
- tap Generate new address to add one, for example for a specific person or purpose;
- Rename an address so you know what it's for;
- pick which address the Receive screen shows.
SatPocket lets you add a new address while you have fewer than five unused ones. All your addresses belong to the same wallet and recovery phrase.
Receiving BSV-21 tokens
Tokens arrive at the same addresses. Open the token and tap Receive to show its QR code. See BSV-21 tokens in SatPocket.
