About SatPocket
What is SatPocket?
SatPocket is a simple self-custody wallet for BSV and BSV-21 tokens on Android. You can create or restore a wallet, send and receive BSV, hold and send BSV-21 tokens, and see your activity. There is no account or sign-up.
Which network and assets are supported?
BSV and BSV-21 fungible tokens (1Sat Ordinals tokens) on BSV mainnet. SatPocket does not support testnet, NFTs, ordinal collectibles, or token trading.
Where is SatPocket available?
SatPocket is an Android app and is coming soon to Google Play. This site will link to the official listing once it is public.
Custody and recovery
Does SatPocket hold or control my BSV?
No. Your 12-word recovery phrase and private keys are created and kept on your device, and transactions are signed there. SatPocket cannot access, freeze, reverse, or recover your funds.
How do I restore my wallet?
Choose the restore option and enter your 12-word recovery phrase, then set a passcode. The recovery phrase is the only way to restore your wallet. A phrase from another wallet app may show different addresses or balances.
Can SatPocket recover a lost recovery phrase or passcode?
No. SatPocket never receives your recovery phrase or passcode. If you forget your passcode, log out and restore the wallet with your recovery phrase. If you lose the recovery phrase, nobody can recover your funds.
How is SatPocket protected on my phone?
A 6-digit passcode unlocks SatPocket, and the app locks automatically after the time you choose, from immediately to 7 days. Wallet data is encrypted on your device. Screenshots are always blocked while your recovery phrase is shown, and Hide wallet preview hides the app in the app switcher.
Does support ever need my recovery phrase?
Never. Support will never ask for your recovery phrase, private keys, or passcode. Treat anyone who asks for them as a scammer.
Fees and buying BSV
What does sending cost?
Every BSV or BSV-21 send includes the BSV network fee and a 100-satoshi SatPocket service fee. Token sends may also need a token indexing fee. Every fee is shown before you approve. Receiving has no SatPocket service fee.
How does the Buy option work?
Buy opens ChangeNOW in your browser. ChangeNOW provides the exchange, quotes, terms, identity checks, refunds, and support. SatPocket may earn a referral commission.
BSV-21 tokens
Do I need BSV to send BSV-21 tokens?
Yes. A token send pays all its fees in BSV: the network fee, the SatPocket service fee and, when the token service requires one, a token indexing fee. Keep some BSV in your wallet.
Why don't I see a token I received?
New tokens appear once their details are verified, which can take a little while. If you answered No when SatPocket asked whether you recognize a token, it is hidden: open Manage token list to show it again.
Does SatPocket show token prices?
No. SatPocket shows USD or EUR values for BSV only. Tokens are shown in their own units, and SatPocket does not offer token trading or swaps.
Services and privacy
Why can a balance or confirmation status be delayed?
SatPocket reads balances and broadcasts transactions through public blockchain services. Network or service delays can temporarily affect displayed balances and status. Your keys stay on your device either way.
What information is shared with external services?
Public blockchain services receive the addresses and transactions needed to show balances and send payments, along with your IP address and request timing. Price services receive only a request for the BSV price. SatPocket never sends your recovery phrase or private keys anywhere.
